Janice S. Bloom is the creator of "The Ohmadillapicklearoos, Those Villager Dust Bunnies Under My Bed". The plot line was conceived in 1994 as the result of having to work the intellectual side of her brain much too hard. Thus, the creative side rebelled and ran amuck! Along life's journey, Ms. Bloom has earned three degrees, including one in law. After having served as general counsel for a national nonprofit organization for several years, she resigned to devote more time to work on the Ohmadillapicklearoos. But no matter the project, her greatest rewards and moments have always come from her family life. She is a devoted wife and mother (to some very creative minds) and committed to family values.
Marcy Woodcock is an extremely gifted and talented wife, mother of three and former teacher who has spent many years working with children. She has taught art in private school, written short theatrical skits for children's ministries and worked for four years in the public school system. It has been her lifelong dream to write and illustrate children's books, and during the past years, she has been able to more thoroughly develop her creative gifts. Through her literary and artistic abilities, and her commitment to help children be all that they can be, she has brought the Ohmadillapicklearoos and the village of Clohverville to life on paper with her creative writing and whimsical illustrations.
Linda Rinn brings her 23 years of experience in the field of education to Villager Book Publishing. Linda has served on multiple curriculum advisory and writing committees and co-authored a hands-on science curriculum sponsored by the National Science Foundation. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Education from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in Educational Administration from The University of North Texas. She holds certifications in elementary education, music education, and mid-management administration. Linda resides in Fort Worth, Texas, and is married to . . . you got it, an educator (who is a fine principal in an elementary school), and loves spending time with both him and her soon-to-be teenage daughter!
